Colonization And Christianity And Incarnation

As you should not allow colonization enter your Christianity so you should not allow church traditions and your village traditions.

Our problem is that we fail to realize that all this traditions, from the church one to our village ones or Islamic are made by men and can always go bad, except your culture (your way of life). That is why I believe the Bible says"Don't be hearers only, but also doers of your culture"

Our problem starts when we go to church for the fun of it or because of someone or something thereabout. That is why we always make sure to find faults in everyone and everything, always go out of context, some even end up leaving the church, and cling to some ancient traditions our fathers, but they end up the same way, with the same mindset and sometimes end up worse. But the good news is that God can still show you mercy if you go back to Him,but our father's gods don't do that.

Listen, whether you gree or not you must know that all the deeds and gods our fathers worshipped ends on this earth in this fleshy life, but have you asked yourself what kind of life you will be living after you die, because you will surely die someday.

You must know that you have a Spirit;the real you, that one that keep living after you die.

I meet folks who talk about incarnation, they believe that if you die your spirit comes back to flesh, and it goes on like that. Well, I too know about incarnation, and I believe it is real, but you must know that there's a Natural incarnation and Spiritual incarnation.

Now the one that we come back to is the natural one(that still dies), but the Spiritual one like Jesus Christ;the God incarnate who died and rouse again and lives forever, now that is where Christianity comes (real Christianity). Christianity teaches you about Life Eternal:that incarnation that gives your living a meaning.

This is the reason why I believe we should all become Christians, real Christians, because only Christianity I believe can save you a peaceful incarnation after death.

My grandma was a native woman, a traditional woman,a good one who tried to do no evil, who believed in incarnation. She even believed that I am her father on the incarnation thing and it's hard to argue because people who knew the man said I have much of his natural qualities, but still you must know that it only end in the natural. There is a spiritual one that is more superior to the natural, and Truth enough she was teaching me all that(Incarnation) before she passed on.

She had taught me that any way I find to follow God I should follow Him with all my heart. She never for one's taught me her native things because she knew that there's no gain in the end,it just ends here in the natural, yes she even told me that all you need is the Word of God, believe it or not.

Before becoming a Christian I had thought about all that she had said, you know from back in the day when I was still a kid I had despised some so called Christians because of the character they play, they made conversion impossible.

My grandma must know a lot that is why she didn't allow me into the Islamic village or her native things, she just wants me to stick to God.

I then became a Christian not even because some pastor or evangelist preached to me, even though they had tried from before,I believe it's because of intercessions from my grandmother,my Mom,and my Boss from back in the day(may his soul rest in peace) 🕊️

"Christianity is personal"says E.A. ADEBOYE.

Know this now that Christianity is not some Jesus of Lübeck or the colonial masters religion, but a way of life;our culture.

...as you open your heart and head to the epignosis of this words I pray God opens your eyes to see.

The Essence Of Everything Everything

I thank God that everyday of our lives is not in the court room. Why is that? I will tell you. You know I hear some court case where you have to stand and answer “yes” or “no” to some lawyer. You might be facing blackmail or threat, and some lawyer folk will just want a yes or no answer from you,so long you stay jailed, but thank God God is not like that, and thank God our everyday life is not like that. No offense to lawyers though. Before I go on I would like to talk about foundations. Just like some building wall you will see cracks, now if you put extra cement on it with little or no time the cracks comes back,it tells you that the foundation is bad,and you can do almost nothing about it. Now the truth is no matter how experienced or intelligent you might be you can still make mistakes on things you know how to do well (it’s just to inform you to not use your experience or intelligent as some fulcrum). Some African proverb said”What an elder sees sitting down,a child even when he climb...

Sands Of Life

I sit in this arm chair in my work place, and thought plenty about life, and one of them is the sands of time. You know one thing about life is that one day in someday it comes to an end, even if it goes as if it never ends. The sands of time goes slow and steady;after all is said and done the sand always finishes to the last drop, you know,so is it with life,we can just call it the sands of life. John Wesley must have thought plenty about the sands of life when he said"Do good to anyone you can,in all the places you can,and as long as you ever can", 'cause only good thing counts in the long run,bad things can be counted, but good things like light always swell. It tells you that wherever you go go with all your heart, and it tells you that no matter how you try you cannot help everyone, only Jesus Christ can do that, but still give all the love that you can 'cause when your own sands runs out you can only give nothing. You cannot be everything, but be the fine breathe of life...

The Mask On Our Faces

I was sitting in my work place with a girlfriend, and we were busy laughing about what we were watching on social media. Suddenly a thought came to my head and I asked her"When there was no phone or social media when a guy and a girl are sitting together what do they do?" She said"they talk about things, phones have spoiled us" The thing is I know the advantages of our cell phones and social media, but the truth is that don't we miss the good old days? Those days when a guy sits with a girl and they talk about, about God and bible things, about music, about romance, about native things,I really do miss those intimate days... You know, the days of blue lights in the basement, the days of family times and young love. I have a sister in law who would love to put off the TV at night and wanting everyone to sit and talk, just talk about anything there is... And in one of the times we would sit in the calm darkness and talk about a whole lot of stuff, and laugh without control...
